Beneath the crimson hues of the setting sun, the old lighthouse stood silently, its silhouette etched against the fading sky. Waves crashed rhythmically against the jagged rocks below, sending salty spray into the cool evening air. For decades, it had watched over the coast, guiding ships through storm and fog alike. Now, long retired, it remained a solemn monument to a time when light alone kept sailors safe from ruin.

In the nearby village, children chased each other through winding cobbled streets, their laughter echoing between ancient stone walls. The scent of fresh bread drifted from an open bakery window, mingling with the faint aroma of the sea. As lanterns flickered to life, the townsfolk began to gather in the square for the evening market, where stories, songs, and simple joys were traded as easily as goods. Life here moved slowly, but it was rich in memory, wrapped in the comfort of tradition.
